A much delayed post about Easter...Alex had a cold and the weather here was not very cooperative, so we didn't have a nice day in the park this year. There was an Easter pageant/egg hunt at daycare the weekend before that Alex enjoyed, though she didn't totally get the collecting eggs concept and she wasn't thrilled by the Easter bunny. We dyed eggs at home, but they were less elaborate this year as Alex wasn't feeling well so we wanted to get through it quickly. On Easter Sunday we went to the playground and did some swinging after a delicious brunch at Canary Square, one of our favorite restaurants. Sort of a low key day, but nice nonetheless. Alex and I started a music class a few weeks ago, so she got a music set in her Easter basket with instruments similar to the ones that get brought out at class.
