Almost 16 Month Statistics
Alex had her 15 month visit at the pediatrician a couple of weeks ago, about 3 days before she would turn 16 months old. I was certain this would be the visit when she would break 20 pounds, but alas...
Weight: 19 pounds, 10 ounces
Length: 31.5 inches
She got two vaccines and had her blood drawn, so had 3 "ouchies" to point out to us all later in the day.
In other news, Alex has started to enjoy helping in the kitchen, especially with unloading the dishwasher.
We took Alex to see some ducks at a pond in town and she loved quack-quack-quacking at them. In fact, we took her over to the playground and she made a beeline back to the ducks. There were geese and even a swan swimming by as well.
We have finally convinced Alex to wear a little ponytail to keep her hair out of her face. She still pulls it out a couple of times a day, but it is much better than the mess of hair she would constantly pull in front of her eyes.
Finally, we spent some time this past weekend going through baby clothes and picking out stuff that will work for little brother when he arrives. It was fun to see how much she has grown!
I'm Erin. I live in Boston with my husband Johnny, our daughter Alex, our dog Redford, and our cat Shelby (the pets are listed in order of importance...sorry cat-lovers).
